Dr. Mohamed Youssef was born and raised in the historical city of Alexandria, Egypt where he finished his studies in Dentistry at Alexandria University. There he received several scholarships for academic and clinical distinction and graduated on the Dean’s Honours List.  After graduation, Dr. Youssef completed one year of advanced training in general dentistry.  During the first four years following his graduation, he completed advanced courses in the fields of implant dentistry, periodontal surgery and endodontics.  He also received formal training in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery as a resident at the Alexandria university hospital.  He learned advanced techniques in Implant dentistry at the hands of Dr. Elaskary and in private practice where he learned from his mentor Dr. Taha and ICOI Diplomate himself.

After arriving to Montreal, Dr. Youssef worked for one year as a dental lab technician before beginning his studies at McGill University Faculty of Dentistry where he graduated on the Dean's Honours list in 2014 after receiving several awards throughout the program for his outstanding academic achievements, dedication and skill.

After graduating from McGill, Dr. Youssef received a fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy which is an honorary organization recognizing outstanding dentists within their field.

In 2021 Dr. Youssef decided to further advance his knowledge and expertise in the field of implant dentistry when was accepted at the world renowned Master of Oral Implantology program at Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany. During that time he worked on developing an innovative technique for safer and more conservative sinus augmentation and he published his findings in the British Dental Journal. He then graduated with distinction and received the Master of Science in Oral Implantology degree.

Already a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) , upon graduation he also became a Diplomate of the (ICOI) an honor held by only two dentists in Montreal and nine in the whole of Quebec.

Dr. Youssef has also developed a patent pending device to help him perfect his novel surgical technique. he is currently an active member of the ODQ, the ACDQ, the ICOI, the PFA, and a past member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.

Dr. Youssef believes in conservative and preventive dentistry through a comprehensive treatment approach.  He is known to his patients as a calm and compassionate dentist as well as an active listener who takes the time to discuss treatment options in order to achieve your best dental health.
